VTS Event Medical Services where the appointed event medical cover provider for the 2024 Wild Fields Music Festival. Providing a comprehensive event medical plan that covered the two-day festival that was attended by over 2,500 people.
Wild Fields Festival Planning & Preperation
Prior to arriving, we were responsible for the planning and preparation of all event medical safety. This included optimised access routes in and out of the venue and ensuring our position within the event was appropriate and accessible for those attending and potentially seeking medical attention throughout the event.
Once our plan was finalised and signed off, we arrived and set up early on Thursday, the day before gates opened to attendees on Saturday. We arrived to set up the VTS Event Medical Services 6 by 3 medical gazebo that would later become the festival’s medical centre post.
How We Helped Wild Fields Festival.
The Wild Fields festival had a total of 2500+ attendees over the two days the event took place. The Saturday proved to be the most popular with an estimated 1,600 attendees arriving to enjoy the music and atmosphere the festival offered.
As this was a smaller-scale festival, our event medical team where able to control all incoming questions, and concerns and provide appropriate support to those who needed it. This minimised the opportunity for larger and more serious emergencies to emerge.
Wild Fields Festival Conclusion
Overall, the Wild Fields festival was a great success, with no casualties or major injuries the event achieved another milestone that was enjoyed by locals.
